Park Place is a spacious peaceful venue in a lovely location. The Nuns who live and work there are incredibly accommodating and flexible to providing us with all that we needed. There are plenty of different spaces to choose from, which makes it ideal for a spiritual weekend. The food is very healthy and the Indian options are delicious. It is extremely good value for money. You are very unlikely to get so much space, en-suite rooms and food anywhere for such a good price. We highly recommend the place.

After three years of Theological study and a lot of other learning besides – I needed space to be quiet, listen to God and be centered in His Word. I found all that in this place of Prayer, in the smiles of the Sisters and in the beautiful gardens and surroundings. Thank you and God bless.

We have been coming to Park Place Centre for over thirteen years. The calm and welcoming atmosphere embraces you immediately and we love “coming home” to this safe haven. We consider the Nuns to be our dear friends and feel that our Retreat here for over 50 participants, is a community within a community. The vegetarian food is delicious and lovingly prepared and the dining room is always a cheery and sociable place to be in. I have been teaching Yoga for over 40 years and have taught in the States, in India, in Spain and all over Britain. But Park Place is definitely my favourite place.

As ever, I had a lovely refreshing weekend at Park Place as part of a Christian Retreat. I felt spiritually uplifted and refreshed. We were all made to feel very welcome and cared for. The meals were delicious and wholesome and the rooms are cosy and comfortable. I felt blessed and grateful for all that I received.

Park Place is a serene and tranquil place in Hampshire, situated in 18 acres of beautiful grounds and woodlands. I also stayed on a self-service basis for a personal Retreat and enjoyed the peace and quiet thoroughly. I was able to organize my day as I wished. I enjoyed the lovely spaces within the house – the library/lounge, the beautiful Chapel and the little meditation Oratory of St. Francis. The little self-contained kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed and perfect for a private stay. I enjoyed the long walks and trails around Wickham and the ‘Meditation Walk’ (clearly marked in the woodlands) within the grounds. Apart from spending quality time relaxing and rejuvenating, I found my stay really economical and excellent value for money. I certainly hope to return.
