A place for Spiritual well-being and Retreat

The tranquil beauty of Park Place provides an ideal setting for concentrated thought and reflection for the many individuals and groups that come each year to recharge their spiritual batteries. The unique blend of East and West produces a calm, reflective atmosphere, which is ideal for study, creative work or relaxation. Or you may wish simply to leave the pressures of daily life behind and enjoy a few days of peace in this lovely tranquil place.

The flexible meetings rooms can be set up for discussion or exercise such as yoga, and an artist’s studio is available. The acoustics in our beautiful chapel are a great resource for any retreat with a musical element.

We welcome approaches from organizations that wish to hold a retreat or spiritual course at Park Place. Parishes, schools and groups of all denominations will find an ideal environment for their retreat needs.

We run in-house retreats in the Christian tradition, to challenge and extend our love of Christ and the Christian faith. We also offer ‘Prayer Days’ for individuals who wish to withdraw from the hectic pace of life for a day to spend time in personal prayer and reflection.

You will see in our Programme (click “What’s on at Park Place”) a selection of short residential and day courses, delivered by tutors who are experts in their field.
